What is a camper trailer slide-out kitchen?

It is a kitchen module installed inside a trailer compartment on load-bearing slide rails. It extends outdoors for cooking and washing, then retracts and locks inside the trailer for travel.

Is this the same as a portable camping kitchen?

No. A portable kitchen is normally freestanding and carried separately. This product is engineered for attachment to a trailer and must match the compartment, mounting structure and allowable load.

Is the stove included?

Not unless it is specifically listed in the quotation and packing list. The standard product concept includes a stove platform designed for an approved appliance.

Can the platform fit a two-burner stove?

Yes, it can be developed around many compact single- or two-burner appliances. The exact stove model and operating clearances must be confirmed before the platform dimensions are finalised.

Does the module include a sink?

Yes, the product concept includes a sink. Basin material, size, installation method, faucet and water-system components must be confirmed for the selected configuration.

Does it connect to the trailer's water system?

It can. The module may use removable water containers or connect to an onboard supply and drain system. Hose routing must accommodate the complete slide movement.

Can fresh- and grey-water tanks be added?

Yes. Tank capacity, packed position, retention and lifting access can be reviewed during development. Full tank weight must be included in the payload calculation.

Can the kitchen be installed on either side of the trailer?

Left-hand and right-hand layouts can be evaluated. Sink position, drawer access, hatch geometry, water routing and stove controls may require a mirrored design rather than simply reversing the finished module.

How much weight can the slide-out kitchen carry?

The final allowable load depends on the slide rails, mounting orientation, cabinet structure, extension length, support leg and receiving trailer structure. The published figure must come from the approved configuration and test method.

Does the module need a support leg?

That depends on extension, working load and trailer rigidity. A leg can reduce movement and load on the outer end, but it must be included in the engineering and validation plan.

Is it suitable for off-road trailers?

An off-road version can be developed with appropriate travel locks, robust structure, dust protection, corrosion-resistant hardware and vibration validation. “Off-road” should only be claimed for the tested configuration and defined use conditions.

Can the kitchen be used while it is partly extended?

Only if that operating position is intentionally designed and tested. Most configurations should be used in the approved fully extended and locked position.

Can INTECAMP customise the dimensions?

Yes. Buyers should provide a compartment drawing, clear hatch dimensions, structural information and target working height. Custom dimensions may affect tooling, rail selection, MOQ and lead time.

Can we add our logo and colours?

Yes. Logo application, colour, finish, labels, manuals and packaging can be developed for OEM and private-label orders.

What information is needed for a quotation?

Please provide the compartment dimensions, hatch opening, trailer type, target market, estimated order volume, desired layout, nominated stove, water-system preference, material preference, payload target, branding and packaging requirements.

Can we order a prototype?

Prototype or production-intent sample options can be discussed after the drawing and technical requirements have been reviewed. A physical fit check in the intended trailer is strongly recommended before mass production.

What is the MOQ?

MOQ depends on dimensions, materials, rail system, custom components, colour, branding and packaging. Standardised configurations generally require less development than exclusive trailer-specific modules.

What documents can be supplied?

Available documents depend on the final configuration and may include drawings, specification sheet, bill of materials, inspection checklist, installation instructions, user manual, packing list and agreed component declarations or test reports.
