Quick answer: The INTECAMP Outdoor Camping Food Prep Station with Optional Sink is a portable food-preparation and storage workstation. The complete base system is centered on an organized worktop, storage compartments and a practical transport format. A sink can be specified as a separate basin or washing module. Fresh-water and grey-water containers, pump, faucet, drain, stove, induction cooker, cookware and other accessories are not automatically included; the final packing list follows the approved quotation, drawing and sample.

Complete product system, optional modules and public OEM capability

A food prep station is easy to oversell because lifestyle images naturally show food, water, cookware and a full campsite around the product. For a serious B2B listing, the product boundary should be visible before a buyer asks for a quotation.

Scope

What it means for this product

How to communicate it accurately

Complete product system

The approved preparation-and-storage base: worktop or expandable tabletop, storage body, agreed compartments or drawers, closures, handles or support structure and the specified portable format. The exact packing list follows the final bill of materials.

Call it a complete base system for food preparation and storage. “Complete” does not mean a fully plumbed kitchen or an appliance-filled bundle.

Optional modules

A removable or supported basin, fresh/grey-water route, pump, faucet, drain, cutting board, kettle, gas or induction cooking module, BBQ module, storage insert, cooler insert, waste tray, side table or extra work surface.

List every accessory as included, optional, customer-supplied or locally sourced. Do not let a prop in a photograph define the commercial scope.

Public OEM/ODM capability

INTECAMP publicly presents OEM, ODM, wholesale and private-label support for its outdoor range, including logo, color, packaging and selected changes to size, layout or function subject to feasibility and sample approval.

Describe this as a project-level capability. Do not claim that every sink, pump, appliance, water tank or accessory is made in the same factory. Confirm supply responsibility by component.

Why food preparation deserves a dedicated camping station

Outdoor cooking usually gets the attention: the grill, the burner, the cookware and the meal. Food preparation is the part that happens before the heat is turned on. Ingredients need to be sorted, washed, cut, portioned and kept away from the equipment that is already hot or dirty.

When preparation happens on a random folding table, the customer often carries several tubs and still has nowhere to put a wet board, a packet of food or a used utensil. A portable outdoor food prep station gives that sequence a home. It turns an untidy collection of camp gear into a small, repeatable work area.

Stage

Keep ingredients, utensils, boards and serving items in a defined place before the meal starts.

Prepare

Use a stable worktop for portioning, cutting or assembling food, subject to the final surface and food-contact specification.

Wash

Add a removable basin or approved water module when the buyer needs a practical washing step at the campsite.

Reset

Gather scraps, wet cloths and small tools so the station can be cleaned, repacked and ready for the next use.

What the end user feels

The benefit is not only extra storage. It is fewer repeated trips to the vehicle, less time searching for a knife or bowl, and a clearer separation between clean preparation and dirty cleanup. For families and outdoor enthusiasts, that makes breakfast or dinner easier to manage. For hosts and rental operators, it makes the kit easier to explain and inspect.

What the B2B buyer can sell

A retailer can demonstrate the product in three states: packed for transport, open for preparation and configured for washing. An outdoor brand can sell the base as a useful organizer and then create higher-value packages around a sink, water containers, cutting board, kettle, cooler or cooking module. The story is specific enough for search and merchandising, but flexible enough for different regional assortments.

Why “optional sink” is commercially useful

Not every customer wants to carry water or clean dishes at the station. Some campsites provide a wash area; some vanlife users already have a water system; some glamping sites need a guest-facing basin and service tray. Keeping the sink optional avoids forcing one water architecture on every channel while still capturing buyers searching for a camping prep table with sink or a portable camp washing station.

What is an outdoor camping food prep station?

In practical terms, it is a portable workstation designed around food preparation rather than only cooking or general storage. The station normally combines a usable preparation surface with organized storage and a way to carry, support or deploy the unit. A sink may be added, but the word “station” alone does not prove that a water system is installed.

The distinction matters for SEO and for sourcing. A buyer searching “camping food prep station with sink” is usually looking for a workflow, not just a basin. The page should explain the base, the wash route and the accessory boundary in the same place.

The complete product system: a preparation platform that works before add-ons

The base should be useful on its own. A customer who already owns a camp sink or stove should not have to buy a second complete kitchen just to gain organized preparation space. That storage-first approach also gives an importer more freedom to localize accessories later.

1. Preparation worktop

The worktop is the main user-facing part of the station. It should give the customer enough space to stage food, bowls, utensils and a serving tray without making the packed unit difficult to transport. Depending on the approved architecture, the surface may be fixed, folding or expandable. The final deployed size, support method, material and load guidance must be taken from the approved drawing.

2. Organized storage

Large storage keeps the food kit together; smaller drawers or bins keep the daily tools visible. A useful layout separates ingredients, utensils, clean service items and cleaning supplies. For a B2B buyer, removable inserts are valuable because they can be replaced, reconfigured or packed differently for retail, glamping and rental channels.

3. Sink-ready area, when specified

A sink-ready configuration may include a nominated support area, removable insert, cutout or interface for an approved basin. That does not mean the base is automatically supplied with a sink or plumbing. The actual interface must be checked against the selected basin, drain route, water containers and cleaning process.

4. Portable handling and deployment

A prep station may be carried from a vehicle to a pitch, stored in a service room or moved between glamping units. Latches, hinges, handles, wheels, legs and table supports therefore affect the business case. They should be reviewed for repeated opening, moisture exposure, cleaning and transport retention—not only for how the first sample looks.

5. Serviceable construction

Food preparation creates crumbs, oil, moisture and stains. Smooth surfaces, removable trays and accessible hardware can reduce the time needed to reset the station. For a fleet, ask how a damaged latch, drawer, support foot or basin can be replaced. Serviceability is often more important than adding one more decorative feature.

Complete base system does not mean complete camp kitchen. The base can be complete as a portable preparation-and-storage product while remaining neutral about sinks, water, fuel, electricity and cooking appliances. Publish those boundaries clearly and buyers will know what to request.

A food-preparation workflow for campsites, vans and glamping units

The most useful product specifications begin with the way people move around the station. A good layout can be explained in a few steps, which makes it easier for a retailer to demonstrate and for a buyer to convert into an instruction card.

Step

User action

Design question for the buyer

1. Open

Place the station on a stable outdoor surface and deploy the worktop or support structure.

Can one person open it without removing every stored item? Are the locks and supports obvious?

2. Stage

Bring out ingredients, utensils, clean bowls, a cutting board and serving items.

Does the storage layout match the actual kit? Are the first-use items quick to reach?

3. Prepare

Wash or portion food, then move prepared items toward the cooking or serving area.

Is the worktop large enough for the real bowl, board and hands? Is the surface approved for the intended contact?

4. Wash

Use the selected basin or site water point for handwashing, rinsing or utensil cleanup.

Where does fresh water come from? Where does grey water go? Can the basin be removed and cleaned?

5. Serve

Keep clean plates, cups or serving tools away from scraps and used utensils.

Is there a separate tray or zone for clean service items?

6. Reset

Empty waste, wipe the surface, dry wet components and close the station for transport.

Can the unit be inspected quickly between guests or rental bookings?

For compact campsites, this workflow can happen beside the vehicle or under an awning. For glamping, it can become a guest-facing breakfast point. For an RV or vanlife product, it can remain outside during use and return to the vehicle for transport. The product should not be presented as a reason to operate an open flame inside a vehicle, tent or other enclosed space.

Optional sink configurations: three levels of washing capability

“With optional sink” can describe very different products. A buyer should choose the level of washing capability before approving photography, packaging or a retail title. The options below are a useful way to structure the conversation.

Configuration

What the buyer receives

What is not assumed

Best fit

Removable basin

A separate or removable basin that can stand on, beside or near the preparation station, subject to interface approval.

No automatic faucet, pump, tank, hose or drain connection.

Campers who want handwashing or light rinsing without a permanent water setup.

Sink-ready station

An approved support area, cutout, insert or mounting route for a nominated basin.

The basin and plumbing are not included unless listed. A photo showing a basin is not a specification.

Brands that want one base with a future washing upgrade or a locally sourced basin.

Portable washing package

Basin plus defined fresh-water, grey-water, pump, faucet, drain and hose components where the project requires them.

Compatibility, water capacity, pump voltage, drainage and compliance cannot be inferred without a final component list.

Glamping, hospitality, event and rental programs needing a repeatable wash workflow.

How to evaluate a sink module

  • Hand clearance: A basin should be usable with real hands, bowls and utensils—not only fit inside a product photo.

  • Drain direction: Decide whether water drains into a container, through a hose or into an approved site point. Do not leave grey-water handling vague.

  • Drying and storage: The basin and hose need to dry before the station is closed. Wet components should not share unprotected space with dry food, filters or textiles.

  • Fresh-water handling: Confirm container size, lifting weight, filling access, cap type, material and cleaning instructions.

  • Service and replacement: A rental operator should know which parts can be replaced independently if a basin, hose, pump or faucet is lost.

  • Market requirements: Water-contact, electrical and labeling requirements vary by component and destination market. Review them as part of the finished configuration.

INTECAMP also presents a separate Foldable Camping Sink Module with Stainless Steel Hanging Rail. It can be considered as a related washing option, but the connection, support and final inclusion still need to be confirmed for the selected prep-station package.

Optional modules for an outdoor camping food prep station

Modularity is useful when one outdoor brand sells through several channels. A retail starter kit may need only the base and a cutting board. A glamping operator may need a basin, water containers and service tray. An RV supplier may request a compact cooking module or a vehicle-specific retention solution.

Optional module

Role in the range

Questions to confirm before quotation

Foldable sink or basin

Adds a washing point for hands, ingredients or light utensil cleanup.

Selected basin, dimensions, support, drain direction, material, storage position and whether it is attached, freestanding or removable.

Fresh/grey-water kit

Turns a basin into a more repeatable portable washing system.

Container capacity, pump, faucet, hoses, drain, power source, leak testing, cleaning and replacement parts. None is included by default.

Food-grade modular cutting board

Creates a defined preparation surface for vegetables, fruit, bread and breakfast service.

Board material, food-contact documents, dimensions, storage, cleaning and whether the station worktop itself is intended for direct food contact. See the related Food-Grade Modular Camping Cutting Board.

Cooking module

Adds heat after preparation: gas, induction or a foldable BBQ/grill route.

Appliance, fuel or power, heat clearance, ventilation, cable/hose routing, transport retention, warnings and destination-market requirements. Cooking is separate from the base prep station.

Storage dividers and bins

Separates raw ingredients, clean utensils, cookware, condiments and cleaning supplies.

Actual packing list, bin dimensions, removal force, moisture resistance, cleanability and replacement availability.

Waste or scraps tray

Gives food scraps, packaging, used cloths and disposable items a defined reset route.

Volume, liners, odor control, washability, drainage and separation from clean food-contact items.

Cooler or insulated insert

Provides separate space for milk, meat, fresh ingredients or cold drinks.

Exact cooler/insert, insulation performance, condensation, ventilation, cleaning and whether the storage station remains usable when removed.

Side table or expanded worktop

Creates more space for a group meal, glamping service or event setup.

Deployed footprint, support, static load, folding sequence, connection hardware, packed size and transport security.

Related storage platform

For buyers comparing a compact prep box with a larger modular camp kitchen format.

Keep product identities separate. The EC2.0-T stove-free base unit is a different reference platform, not an automatic part of this product.

A related product demonstrates possible range compatibility; it does not prove that the item is included, interchangeable or produced by the same supply chain. Confirm interfaces and component responsibility in the quotation.

Food-zone planning: a small layout that prevents a big mess

The best camping prep table with sink is not the one with the most accessories. It is the one that keeps the dirty, wet and clean jobs from competing for the same few inches of surface.

Zone

Typical contents

Design and merchandising opportunity

Dry storage

Unopened ingredients, spices, bread, coffee, packaged food and backup consumables

Use a closed compartment or removable bins. Keep moisture and cleaning chemicals away from food.

Clean preparation

Cutting board, knife, bowl, plate, tongs and serving utensils

Place the board where the user can work without blocking the sink or cooking module.

Wet zone

Basin, water container, soap, sponge, hose and drain/grey-water container

Make the water route obvious and removable. Plan how the station dries before it is closed.

Cooking handoff

Prepared ingredients, cookware and heat source

Keep gas, induction or BBQ components separate from the food-prep claim unless they are included and documented.

Serving

Plates, cups, cutlery, sauces and a small serving tray

A clean service area helps glamping and hospitality buyers present a finished experience.

Waste and reset

Scraps, packaging, used cloths, used utensils and cleaning items

Provide a removable tray or defined bin route so the station can be checked between users.

For product development, draw the layout with the actual bowl, board, basin, water container and packed food kit. A few minutes with full-size mock-ups can reveal more than a long feature list: whether a lid opens, whether a pump can be reached, whether the sink blocks the worktop and whether a user can lift a loaded container safely.

Who should source a portable outdoor food prep station?

Outdoor and camping brands

Add a preparation-led SKU to a camp kitchen, cookware or furniture range. Keep the base equipment-neutral and create accessory bundles for different customer budgets.

Importers and distributors

Use one organized platform for several regional packages, then select local water, power, fuel or cookware components where the market requires a different setup.

Outdoor retailers

Demonstrate a clear before-and-after story: loose gear becomes an organized preparation and washing point. Cross-sell boards, basins, storage inserts and cooking modules.

Glamping operators

Create a guest-facing breakfast or food-preparation point that can be staged, cleaned and moved between accommodation units.

RV, vanlife and overland brands

Offer a portable alternative to permanent conversion work when customers want to move the prep station outside the vehicle or between trips.

Rental fleets and event suppliers

Standardize the base, inventory the modules and define a reset checklist for repeated handling. Service parts and cleanability should be part of the initial brief.

Build a range that makes sense at retail and in hospitality

One product page can serve several buyer types when the package levels are explicit. The structure below is a commercial framework, not a statement that every listed item comes in the standard product.

Range position

Base proposition

Best fit

What must be stated

Prep and storage base

Portable storage body, organized compartments, worktop and agreed closures/support

Entry retail, car camping, customers who already own a sink or stove

Exact base packing list; no automatic sink, water or appliance.

Prep station with basin

Base plus removable or supported basin, with a defined cleaning arrangement

Family camping, vanlife, outdoor cooking and small hospitality setups

Basin model, placement, drain route and what water components are separate.

Washing-ready package

Base, basin and nominated fresh/grey-water components

Glamping, rental fleets, campgrounds and outdoor events

Every container, hose, pump, faucet, drain, power source, cleaning step and replacement part.

Food-service package

Preparation station plus food-contact board, waste route, storage inserts and selected cooking/service modules

Higher-value outdoor hospitality and branded programs

Final BOM, food-contact information, appliance boundaries, market documents and operating instructions.

Vehicle, campsite and operating considerations

The station is portable, but “portable” does not mean universally compatible with every vehicle or campsite. For a freestanding product, the key questions are packed size, weight, carrying method and deployed footprint. For a vehicle-specific program, the buyer needs a fitment brief.

For campervans, RVs and overland vehicles

  • Provide the make, model, year and conversion layout only as a starting point; measure the actual opening, cargo bay, wheel arches, floor, rails and tie-down points.

  • Check whether the worktop can open beside the rear doors or under an awning without blocking access, ventilation or emergency equipment.

  • Confirm the loaded transport weight, including water, cookware, food, basin and appliances. The empty product weight is not the travel weight.

  • Define how the unit is restrained during movement. A loose box, water container or appliance can become a hazard even if the station itself fits the cargo area.

  • If a fixed slide, rail, mounting plate or vehicle interface is required, treat it as an ODM or installation project and confirm drawings before making a fitment claim.

For campsites, glamping and outdoor events

  • Place the station on a stable, level surface and protect the work area from rain, mud and standing water as appropriate for the site.

  • Keep clean food and food-contact accessories separate from waste, chemicals, fuel and grey water.

  • Use gas and electrical equipment only according to the selected appliance instructions, local rules and the final package documentation.

  • Never use the product description as permission to operate an open flame inside a closed vehicle, tent or enclosed accommodation.

  • For guest or rental use, create a simple open-use-clean-dry-close checklist and keep replacement parts available.

Reference architecture: when the selected base follows IC-KB60

INTECAMP’s current IC-KB60 collapsible camp kitchen storage box provides a useful reference for a compact storage-and-worktop product. The official page lists approximately 60L storage, two side-access drawers, three organized storage areas, a folding/expandable tabletop, a folded format of approximately 140mm, reinforced PP body construction and HIPS tabletop panels. It also states that the reference product is not a stove, sink, water system or insulated cooler.

Those are reference values for IC-KB60, not universal specifications for every food prep station configuration. If the final product uses that platform, the approved IC-KB60 data can be carried into the relevant product listing. If the buyer requests a different sink interface, insert, table, material or packed format, the new values must come from the project drawing and sample.

Public OEM and ODM capability for outdoor food-prep products

INTECAMP’s public OEM/ODM information gives outdoor brands a starting point for a private-label food-preparation product. The sensible way to use that capability is to define the base platform first and then decide which modules belong in the brand’s package.

OEM: brand an approved product system

An OEM route can focus on logo application, color, labels, packaging, instruction language and an agreed accessory bundle. This suits an importer or outdoor brand that already knows its market and wants a recognizable product presentation around a proven storage/worktop architecture.

ODM: develop the product around a sourcing brief

An ODM route may involve a changed worktop, drawer layout, packed height, sink interface, basin support, water route, waste insert, vehicle-retention feature or accessory bay. It should begin with the actual use case: family camp cooking, vanlife, glamping breakfast service, rental fleet or outdoor event support.

What can be stated publicly—and what still needs confirmation

INTECAMP publicly describes support for customer logos, color confirmation, tailored packaging print, feasibility review, sampling and sample approval before mass production. That is a useful public OEM/ODM starting point. It is not a blanket statement that every basin, pump, faucet, water container, stove, induction appliance, cutting board or vehicle fitting is manufactured in the same factory.

For procurement, request a component-level scope. Identify what is made, what is sourced, what is customer-supplied, what documents are available, what tests apply, what is in the carton and how replacement parts will be handled. That distinction keeps the product page accurate and protects the buyer’s landed-cost and service model.

  1. Define the operating scene: campsite, RV, campervan, glamping unit, rental fleet, campground or event.

  2. Freeze the base: worktop, storage, drawers or inserts, closures, handling, support and packaging.

  3. Choose the sink level: no sink, removable basin, sink-ready interface or complete washing package.

  4. Map the food zones: dry ingredients, clean preparation, wet washing, cooking handoff, serving and waste.

  5. Review drawings and sample: use the actual bowls, basin, board, water container and appliances that must fit.

  6. Approve the commercial file: bill of materials, quality criteria, packaging, instructions, market documents and terms.

See the public INTECAMP OEM and ODM Service page for the starting scope, then request a project-specific review for the food prep station and optional sink route.

What to include in an RFQ for a camping food prep station with sink

The phrase “camping food prep station with sink” can mean a small removable basin or a complete mobile wash point. A useful RFQ removes that ambiguity and helps the supplier quote the actual product rather than a lifestyle image.

Use case

State whether the product is for car camping, vanlife, RV, glamping, rental, campground, retail or outdoor event use.

Base kit

List the storage, worktop, drawers, board, bins, cookware and serving items that must fit. Include drawings or dimensions for nominated components.

Sink route

Choose basin-only, sink-ready or complete washing. State fresh/grey-water volumes, pump, faucet, drain, power and cleaning expectations.

  1. Identify whether you are evaluating an existing INTECAMP platform, a food-focused bundle or a new ODM variation.

  2. Separate included, optional, customer-supplied and locally sourced components in the quotation request.

  3. Provide target country or countries, sales channel, target price position, estimated annual quantity and sample expectations.

  4. Give the actual worktop, basin, water container, board, cookware and appliance dimensions and weights where relevant.

  5. State whether the unit is carried by hand, wheeled, used freestanding, secured in a vehicle or mounted to a slide/rail.

  6. Ask for final dimensions, net/gross weight, packaging data, materials, load guidance, cleaning instructions and service parts.

  7. Request the applicable destination-market review for gas, electrical, food-contact, water, labeling and packaging requirements.

Design details that make the product easier to live with

Give the clean prep zone its own space

Food preparation is where the customer handles ingredients before they become a meal. A board, bowl and clean utensil should not have to share the only dry space with a used sponge or grey-water hose. Even a small separation improves the perceived quality of the station.

Do not hide the water decision

A sink is only one part of washing. The user also needs to fill, move, drain and dry water. A product that shows a basin but leaves the grey-water route unclear creates a frustrating ownership experience. The product page should explain the water boundary as plainly as it explains storage.

Use actual food and cookware in the design review

Full-size bowls, cutting boards, pans, plates and water containers reveal problems that empty-product photography hides. Check whether a lid opens around the packed kit, whether a drawer clears the basin and whether a loaded station is safe to lift.

Design for the return trip

After the meal, the station should be easy to wipe, drain, dry and close. Wet inserts should not be sealed into dry storage. For a rental fleet, the close-down sequence should be short enough to become a habit and clear enough for a new operator to follow.

Make the product neutral where the market is different

Gas, induction, mains power, battery power and water access differ across regions. A neutral prep-and-storage base helps a buyer create regional packages without redesigning the entire product for every market. The appliance, plug, fuel and water components should still be documented when they are included.

Use imagery to explain the workflow and the product boundary. The hero image should show the approved base configuration. When a basin, stove, kettle, water tank or cookware appears, mark it as included or optional in the image caption and nearby copy.

Frequently asked questions

What is an outdoor camping food prep station?

It is a portable workstation organized around food preparation, storage and serving at a campsite or outdoor accommodation. The base may include a worktop, storage compartments, drawers and portable support features. A sink, water system and cooking appliance depend on the approved configuration.

Is the sink included in the standard product?

No. The sink is optional. A removable basin, sink-ready interface or complete washing package must be named in the quotation and final bill of materials.

Does the station include fresh water, a pump or a grey-water tank?

Not by default. Fresh-water and grey-water containers, pump, faucet, hoses and drain must be specified as a separate water and washing configuration.

Can I use a foldable camping sink with the station?

A related foldable sink module can be evaluated, but the basin support, dimensions, drain route, storage and cleaning process must be checked for the selected base. A related product is not automatically interchangeable.

Does the food prep station include a stove or induction cooker?

No, not in the standard base. Gas, induction or BBQ modules may be evaluated separately around a nominated appliance, fuel or power source and the applicable safety requirements.

Can the worktop be used as a cutting board?

Do not assume so. The worktop is a preparation surface unless the final material and food-contact use are documented. A separate approved food-grade camping cutting board is the safer product route for direct food contact.

How much storage does it provide?

Storage depends on the chosen platform, drawer layout and inserts. If the approved base follows the IC-KB60 reference, INTECAMP publicly lists approximately 60L, two side-access drawers and three organized storage areas. The final packing capacity must be confirmed for the actual food-prep configuration.

Can it be used as an RV or campervan food prep station?

Yes, when the packed size, weight and deployed footprint suit the vehicle and campsite. Vehicle-specific mounting, slides, rails or retention are not universal and require measurements and a separate fitment review.

Can glamping operators and rental fleets use it?

Yes. The platform can be developed for guest breakfast service, outdoor hospitality, campgrounds and rental kits. Buyers should define cleaning, inspection, replenishment, replacement parts and water handling before standardizing the package.

Is it suitable for outdoor events?

It can support a compact preparation or service point when the selected food, water, power and appliance setup is appropriate. Do not market it as a commercial catering or espresso unit unless the complete system has been engineered and documented for that use.

Does INTECAMP manufacture every component shown in lifestyle images?

INTECAMP publicly presents OEM, ODM, wholesale and private-label support for its outdoor product range. That does not mean every basin, pump, faucet, tank, stove, appliance, board or accessory is automatically made in the same factory. Request a component-level supply scope.

Can outdoor brands order private-label versions?

Yes. Logo, color, packaging and selected product or bundle changes can be discussed subject to feasibility, order requirements and sample approval. MOQ, lead time, tooling, documents and production scope require a project quotation.

What should I send for an OEM or ODM quotation?

Send the use case, target country, base storage list, worktop dimensions, sink level, water and power requirements, nominated appliances, preferred materials and colors, logo, packaging, estimated quantity, sample expectations and any vehicle or hospitality constraints.
